Simply put, no, your MW3 Double XP Tokens will NOT carry over to Black Ops 6. Recently, Activision confirmed that none of your Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP Tokens, will be carrying over to Black Ops 6. However, not all hope is lost as they have also announced that the Double XP Tokens will be available to use in Warzone even after the release of BO6.
This was expected as Call of Duty had previously confirmed that, unlike the carry-over feature that was implemented between MW2 and MW3, the same rules won't be in place between Modern Warfare 3 and BO6. However, there are a couple of things from Modern Warfare 3 that will carry forward to the upcoming Call of Duty game, unlike the Double XP Tokens.
This article will take a look at all the items that will be carried over from Modern Warfare 3 to Black Ops 6.
All items from MW3 that will carry over to Black Ops 6
According to the official guidelines, the only items from MW3 that will carry over to Black Ops 6 are the Woods Operator Pack skins, which are a reward for pre-ordering the game. These particular Operator skins are available in Modern Warfare 3 and will be available in BO6 as well when it releases on October 25, 2024. But other than that, carry-forward items are severely lacking this time around.
This also means that none of your Modern Warfare 3 purchases, will carry over to BO6 including the new Tracer Packs. However, they will be available for use in the battle royale title just like the Double XP Tokens.
Here's what the official Call of Duty blog stated regarding the carry-forward rules this time around and why they have chosen this route:
"We want to make sure that everybody starts fresh, together, as we move into an all-new experience with the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Allowing everyone to experience the Black Ops universe the way it’s meant to be played, learning the era-specific weapons and gear, learning the gameplay innovations like Omnimovement, and keeping that signature Black Ops style is important."
The developers have decided to limit item carrying over this time around to preserve the authentic gameplay experience. Both Modern Warfare 3 and BO6 are set in different time periods, and having a similar set of equipment and weapons will take away from the realism and authenticity that BO6 aims to deliver to its fans.
Interestingly, the official blog post didn't discuss the exact reasons for Double XP Tokens and other consumables not carrying over. However, it can be speculated that this was done to ensure that gamers play the shooter and progress at the intended pace.

That covers all the carry-forward details between MW3 and Black Ops 6. This is an interesting case since the Tokens will be available in Warzone, which will integrate with BO6, allowing for cross-progression. So, Double XP Tokens not carrying over to BO6 is certainly a huge change, and more details about it are currently awaited from the official Call of Duty channels.
