Modern Warfare 3 is likely to get a Season 6 update

Ever since the introduction of content based on seasonal updates in the Call of Duty franchise, Activision has always released a Season 6 for every game. Specifically speaking about Modern Warfare titles, 2019’s rebooted MW got a Season 6 update before the end of its life cycle in 2020.

Similarly, Modern Warfare 2 – a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare – also received its sixth season last year around September. This means that Modern Warfare 3 is very likely to receive a Season 6 as well at some point in the coming months.

After getting the Season 5 update on July 24, 2024, MW3 will also get a mid-season update, probably by next month. Hence, one can assume that Season 6 should be announced for a release date in September 2024. However, this is just a speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt for now.
