Following the integration of Warzone with Black Ops 6, the game has faced several criticisms from the CoD community. WZ Season 1 launched with several bugs and issues that many players cautiously reported. With new maps and weapons introduced, players have started debating about their structures and poor builds. In a recent Reddit post, user u/Meruem-0 expressed that WZ 2.0 was more enjoyable than the current Warzone:

“WZ 2.0 was more enjoyable than whatever this is”

In the same post, many players echoed their point of view. For instance, user u/Altruistic_Phone_531, with the same sentiment, commented that the competition is not even close, stating that WZ 2 worked. This points towards the ongoing issues that the current title is still facing.

Another user, u/Jamal_gg, said they would love to play WZ 2 rather than the current title. Further, they clarified that they found the Al Mazrah map to be superior to the current Urzikstan map.

Meanwhile, quite a few users appeared in favor of the current version of the Warzone. A user u/religiousgilf420 argued that WZ 2 was worse than WZ Season 1. Another user, u/SeniorEmployment932, disagreed with the post, stating that WZ 2 and 3 were unplayable. They further added that WZ 4 is good and has better mechanics and they played WZ 4 more than 2 and 3. Another user said that WZ 2 was worse.

Why is WZ 2 more enjoyable than Warzone Season 1?

Several factors affect the current state of Warzone. WZ 2 consists of big maps like Al Mazrah, which WZ Season 1 lacks, and offers redesigned older maps in a small size. Moreover, weapon mechanisms like recoil and movement are smoother in WZ 2 compared to the latest version of the game. Despite several updates, it is quite challenging to control recoil in the current version of the Warzone.

Furthermore, server issues pose significant barriers to gameplay, often hindering the player experience. Other reasons include poor audio quality, several hackers, and numerous in-game bugs that often give an advantage to certain players and make the game unfair.
