In Ireland, a former journalist has been stabbed to death in what the detectives believe to have been a fight over a game of chess.
Police officers after receiving a call from a house in the Castleknock suburb of North Dublin, reached to find to their shock that the 39-year old owner had been stabbed multiple number of times and had succumbed to those injuries.
A 34-year old Italian has been arrested at the crime scene, who the detectives believe to have stabbed the victim. The officials said that a row had possibly broken between the two over a chess move and went on to take such a nasty turn. They also added that they were not monitoring any more people in relation with the incident.
No drugs or alcohol were involved, the police said, while the post-mortem examination is yet to be carried out.
