Sahaj Grover’s name is synonymous with Indian junior chess. He has won numerous accolades including a second place in the National Challengers Chess Championship recently. He scored a brilliant 9.5 points out of a possible 13 rounds and has qualified for the National ‘A.’
Sahaj is doing wonders in the field of chess and with just a bit of support he can go all the way to the elite Grandmaster level. We can’t get a better heir to step into Vishy Anand’s shoes to make the country’s flag fly high. Sahaj has also won the silver medal in the Asian Juniors 2013 and bronze in the World Juniors 2011.
Sahaj is now working his way towards increasing his ELO rating to a roaring 2600+ to take his small steps towards the Premiere level. Hope you do wonders Sahaj.
