Viswanathan Anand – Magnus Carlsen, World Chess Championship 2014, Sochi

After a long day at the board yesterday, the players will be back today facing each other in game 8 of the World Chess Championship being held in Sochi, Russia. Viswanathan Anand will have the advantage of playing with the White pieces today, and would be looking to level the score. Magnus Carlsen, leading 4 – 3, would be happy to safeguard his lead by trying to equalise with the Black pieces. We can expect either a tough game or a quick draw depending on the players energy levels.
