The Duke Blue Devils are one of the best teams in the ACC Conference, and they are a hotbed of some of college baseball's best talents. They'll be out to add more talented players ahead of the 2025 collegiate baseball season.

Despite Duke's pedigree, two Blue Devils players have entered the transfer portal this year. Since July 2 is the deadline for the NCAA baseball transfer portal, there might be some extra additions to the list.

A look at all the Duke Blue Devils baseball players who entered the transfer portal this year

Here's a rundown of the Blue Devils set to enter the free agency and their stats during their amateur careers. The stats are culled from the Duke University baseball website.

1. Josh Allen, Pitcher

Left-handed pitcher Josh Allen has entered the transfer portal after his fourth season at Duke. Allen played in just 10 games in Year 4, tallying 7.1 innings on the mound, striking out six batters, and holding opponents to a .167 batting average against.

Allen has dealt with injuries in recent years and missed the entirety of the 2023 college baseball season. The LHP enjoyed his best season in 2022, making a team-high 27 appearances and posting a 1-3 record. His 27 appearances were tied for fifth in the ACC during the regular season.

Allen will be looking to continue his collegiate career in a different environment. He departs a Duke Blue Devils side with an established pitching rotation. The talented pitcher will look to have one more stellar season ahead of potentially declaring for next year's MLB Draft.

2. Chase Krewson, Outfielder

In his freshman season, Chase Krewson was a solid rotational piece for the Duke Blue Devils.

Krewson started 35 of the 46 games he played during the 2024 season. He posted a stat line of .331 at the plate, 35 runs scored, 43 hits, three doubles, five home runs and 22 RBI. He also drew 19 walks and was hit by one pitch.

The outfielder promptly entered the transfer portal and has since been snapped up by UCF. Speaking to ucfsports.com, Krewson said:

"I'm super grateful for an opportunity like this. I feel like UCF is where I can reach my full potential."

Under coach Rich Wallace, Krewson has the opportunity to grow further. The two go back a long time and first came across each other when Krewson was in eighth grade.
