Florida State's Titan Kamaka and De Amez Ross have entered the transfer portal.

The Florida State Seminoles chalked up their 24th College World Series this past season after being selected as one of the best at-large teams for the 2024 NCAA Baseball Tournament.

The Link Jarrett-coached squad blazed through the regional and super regional to secure a spot in the CWS. The Seminoles' run in the CWS was stopped by national champion Tennessee in the semifinals to end up joint third with Florida.

As the 2024 season drew to a close, 10 players stated their intentions to test the transfer portal waters to find a new team that will maximize their potential. Here are the Florida State players who signed up for the portal.

DeAmez Ross, OF

DeAmez Ross played for two seasons with Florida State and had a batting average of .273. Ross started in 56 of 84 games and scored 52 runs. The 5-foot-11 incoming junior smacked four home runs and drove in 36 runs in his first two seasons as a Seminole.

He had an on-base percentage of .353 and his slugging rate is .370. Ross recorded 13 stolen bases and had two triples and seven doubles.


Titan Kamaka, INF

Titan Kamaka played for two seasons with the Seminoles and hit .233 with five home runs and 21 RBIs. He had an on-base percentage of .278 and a slugging rate of .414. The incoming junior hopes to find a new team that needs his services.


Riley Jackson, C

Riley Jackson saw action for eight games and was hitless in five at-bats this past season. He was struck out four times and was grounded in a double play in his other at-bat.


Matty Davis, OF

Matty Davis played for four games and went .667 in three at-bats. Davis had two runs and his on-base and slugging percentages were .667 each.


Yoel Tejada Jr., RHP

Yoel Tejada Jr. appeared in 12 games and started in one of them. He finished the season with a 1-2 record with a 5.03 ERA. Tejada recorded 15 strikeouts and 14 walks in 19 2/3 innings. He faced 99 batters, who were hit .284 against him.


Lance Trippel, 1B

Lance Trippel appeared in 30 games (six starts) for the Seminoles in two seasons. Trippel managed to hit .235 and produced three runs for the squad. The 6-foot-2 infielder scored two runs of his own and had two walks while getting struck out five times in his two years of service with Florida State. He had a slugging percentage of .235 and his on-base percentage is .263.


Matt Sauser, RHP

Matt Sauser played for six games (three starts) with Florida State this past season. Sauser faced 37 batters and appeared in 7 1/3 innings. He allowed a 6.14 ERA and a .310 batting average against. He recorded five strikeouts and seven walks.


Spencer Butt, INF

Spencer Butt didn't appear in any games for Florida State as he was redshirted. He graduated from American Heritage High School, where he hit .342 with 34 RBIs and five home runs in his senior year.


Justin Best, OF

Justin Best didn't play for the Seminoles this past season. The Combine Academy alumnus hit .471 with 24 extra-base hits and 40 RBIs as a senior. He was ranked fourth overall in North Carolina and was a Perfect Game All-American and Gatorade Player of the Year nominee.


James Hankerson Jr., 1B

James Hankerson Jr. hit .375 as a senior at Berkeley Prep in Tampa. Hankerson piled up 15 extra-base hits and 30 RBI. He didn't play for Florida State this season as he was redshirted.
