Jace LaViolette played a key role in leading the Texas A&M Aggies to the College World Series finals this year. However, just days after losing the title game against Tennessee, the outfielder has entered the transfer portal.

Since LaViolette has made his intentions clear that he wants to leave the Aggies, here's a look at five programs he could join for the 2025 season.

#5. Texas Longhorns

Since Jim Schlossnagle has reportedly left Texas A&M to join Texas this week, it appears that Jace LaViolette could follow suit. Schlossnagle was the man who recruited LaViolette to the Aggies, and the player might want to link up with the coach at the Longhorns' program.

However, it would be interesting to see if LaViolette makes the move to a state rival. He became quite a fan-favorite in his two years with the Aggies.

#4. Florida State Seminoles

The Seminoles appear to be in good hands since Link Jarrett took charge of the team in 2023. This year, Florida State made its first CWS appearance since 2019.

As the Seminoles are improving with each passing year, Jace LaViolette could consider joining the program to develop his game.

#3. Tennessee Volunteers

The Vols have become a force to reckon with after winning the CWS this year. Tony Vitello has done something special with this group of players and gained a reputation as one of the best college baseball coaches.

If LaViolette joins the Vols, they have a strong chance of retaining their national title. It will also give the player a better opportunity to win the CWS after falling short of glory this year.

#2. Florida Gators

The Gators have a knack for making it to the postseason. Although it's unclear whether Jac Caglianone will remain with the team next season, Florida needs reinforcements after seeing some top talents leave the program in recent years.

If the Gators lure Jace LaViolette for next season, they can boost their batting department and subsequently make a push for the NCAA Tournament.

#1. Oregon State Beavers

Oregon State has reached the NCAA Tournament in four successive seasons under coach Mitch Canham. However, the Beavers still need to tweak a few departments if they want to go all the way and win the national title.

Bringing in a player like LaViolette could put Oregon State on the right path. The sophomore smashed 29 home runs last season and has proved himself to be a reliable option.
