The 2024 MLB draft is less than two weeks away as the first round is set to start on July 14. The draft will consist of 20 rounds, taking place over a three-day period. Players drafted will have the opportunity to return to college if they do not sign a contract.

#2, Malcolm Moore, Stanford Cardinal

Malcolm Moore is another catcher who is projected to be selected in the mid-to-late first round of the 2024 MLB draft. The Stanford Cardinal hit .255 with 16 home runs, 36 RBIs, 42 runs, 48 hits and a .967 OPS.

#3, Caleb Lomavita, California Golden Bears

Caleb Lomavita is projected to be selected in the late first round to early second round of the 2024 MLB draft. The California Golden Bears catcher hit .322 with 15 home runs, 52 RBIs, 51 runs, 73 hits, 12 stolen bases and a .981 OPS.

#4, Jacob Cozart, NC State Wolfpack
