Charlie Condon's girlfriend Blair Driver was over the moon after the former Georgia slugger was drafted by the Colorado Rockies on Monday. Condon was selected with the No. 3 pick in the 2024 MLB draft after two fabulous seasons with the Bulldogs.
With a feeling of immense pride and excitement, Driver posted a few snaps of Condon on her Instagram stories along with some heartfelt notes.

"So proud of you and can't wait to watch this next chapter. I love you," Driver wrote on one picture of Condon and herself at a ballpark.

After being picked by the Rockies, Condon expressed his eagerness to get started with the franchise. He also took a moment to thank his Georgia teammates:
“It is super exciting stuff to be part of an organization that has got so much history in such a cool ballpark with really great people within the organization all around. It has been awesome. All I can think about is my teammates at UGA who have propelled me into this position. I would not be here without you guys. I will always remember that.”
Charlie Condon joins Colorado Rockies on the back of a historic season with Georgia

Charlie Condon had an exceptional sophomore season with Georgia in 2024. He played a pivotal role as the program reached the NCAA Super Regional and posted a final record of 43-17.
Notably, Condon led the NCAA in batting (.443), home runs (a BBCOR-era record 37), slugging percentage (1.009), total bases (233) and OPS (1.565). The right-handed slugger also recorded 100 hits, 84 runs and 78 RBIs in 231 at-bats.
Condon was named the 2024 SEC Player of the Year and it appeared to have further boosted his draft stock.
After two star-studded seasons at Georiga, it will be interesting to see when Condon makes his MLB debut. The Rockies are in need of a rebuild and Condon could play a critical role for the franchise.
