The SEC Baseball Tournament will begin on Tuesday at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama. Twelve teams will compete for the automatic bid in the college baseball tournament.
Tennessee is the No. 1 seed in the tournament while Arkansas, Kentucky and Texas A&M rank second, third and fourth, respectively. They all receive a bye in the first round.
Eight teams — Mississippi State, Georgia, Alabama, Vanderbilt, Florida, South Carolina, LSU and Ole Miss — placed fifth to 12th will play in the first round.
The double elimination part of the tournament kicks off on Wednesday. The semifinals and final will be held on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
2024 SEC Baseball Tournament Bracket
The SEC has released its bracket for the 2024 SEC Baseball Tournament. Topping the list are Tennessee (46-10, 22-8 in SEC), Arkansas 43-12 (20-10 in SEC), Kentucky (39-12, 22-8) and Texas A&M (44-11, 19-11 in SEC).
The four teams earned the first-round bye as they performed brilliantly during the regular season. Tennessee held the tiebreak advantage over co-champions Kentucky after winning their series, earlier in the season.
Mississippi State (36-19, 17-13 in SEC) secured the fifth seed while Georgia (39-14, 17-13 in SEC) ranked sixth. Vanderbilt (35-20, 13-17 in SEC) was ranked as the No. 7 seed followed by Alabama (33-21, 13-17 in SEC), Florida (28-26, 13-17 in SEC), South Carolina (33-21, 13-17 in SEC), LSU (36-20 (13-17 in SEC) and Ole Miss (27-28, 11-19 in SEC).
In the bracket one, No.6 seed Georgia will be up against No. 11-ranked LSU while No. 7 Alabama faces No. 10 South Carolina. In bracket two, No. 8 Vanderbilt and No. 9 Florida will meet while No. 5 Mississippi State and No. 12 Ole Miss will lock horns in equally exciting matchups on Tuesday.
No. 3 Kentucky will encounter the winner of Game 1 while second-seed Arkansas will meet the victor of Game 2. Top seed Tennessee plunges into action after a first-round bye on Wednesday, as it will face the winner of Game 3. The winner of the Game 4, meanwhile, will play No. 4 seed Texas A&M.

2024 SEC Baseball Tournament Tickets
Due to high ticket demand for the 2024 SEC Baseball Tournament, ticket books for reserved chairback and reserved benchback sections of the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium are sold out.
The only section available is the general admission (benchback seating - except sections 201-204, lawn seating or standing room) which is worth $110.
As for single-session tickets, a general admission pass is sold for $18, while general admission for ages 3-12 is sold at $9. Ages 2 and under are free.
