Vols‘ Christian Moore's GF Gracelyn Veitch celebrates SEC tournament win as Tennessee advances to 2024 NCAA Tournament: “That’s my baby”

Christian Moore and the Tennessee Volunteers have plenty of reasons to celebrate. The team earned the No. 1 overall spot in the NCAA Baseball tournament by winning their fifth SEC baseball championship game after defeating the LSU Tigers 4-3 at Hoover Met on Sunday. They now hold both the SEC regular season and tournament championship titles.

Moore shared a series of pictures on his Instagram account, where he and the Vols were seen celebrating their victory, while he held the trophy surrounded by teammates.

Moore's girlfriend, Gracelyn Veitch commented on the post, writing:

"That's my baby 😍😍😍"

Gracelyn had been actively supporting her boyfriend in his run to the College World Series. She has been sharing encouraging Instagram stories all the while attending his games.

In a post of her own, she congratulated the slugger, writing:

"SEC CHAMPS!!! so grateful to get to watch you do what you love! 🧡🧡🧡"

Dylan Loy became the star player of the game against LSU as he provided four and a half innings of scoreless reliefs. He struck out five batters and gave up two walks.

Christian Moore talked about his SEC Championship win

After defeating the LSU Tigers, Christian Moore was mic'd up to talk about the team's victory. He was asked what message he'd like to share after winning the title game.

"Obviously, you know it's super fun to be in this position," Moore said (via SEC Sports). "I got a lot more baseball left. So definitely soak this in and enjoy it, but then move on and getting ready for tomorrow."

When asked what winning a championship means to him, he said:

"It's amazing. I told you, man, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and just to do it twice now, it's definitely unbelievable."

The Volunteers are favorites to win their first College World Series championship. They will host Indiana, Southern Mississippi and Northern Kentucky at the regional round in Knoxville.
