Vols star Drew Beam talks about his GF Halle Hutchins' relationship with Texas A&M baseball: "She has a little bit of everything"

Drew Beam's girlfriend, Halle Hutchins, has become popular for supporting the Tennessee Volunteers' star pitcher in the 2024 CWS games. However, Hutchins has major ties to Texas A&M, the team that played against the Vols in the College World Series finals.

Her father is the director of operations for the Aggies, and her brother, Jace Hutchins, played for the team and is currently working as a student assistant coach. She also works for the team as a social media manager.

During one of the games, Halle was seen sporting a "BEAM" cap in support of her boyfriend while wearing a maroon outfit, rooting for the Aggies. This started chatter among college baseball fans about where her true support lay. Regarding this, in an interview with SEC Network, Drew Beam said:

"She's been great. She wore maroon but she had my name on there. She had a little bit of everything. Mixing in and pulling ties on what she's rooting on but it's been good...Very supportive."

Drew Beam defended his girlfriend after the 2024 CWS title win

After the Vols defeated the Texas A&M in Game 3 of the 2024 Men's College World Series, Beam defended Halle Hutchins against the high amount of attention from college baseball enthusiasts. He tweeted:

"Natty champs. with the best woman i’ve ever met supporting me through it all, to the vols fans who are nice to this woman, i say thank you. to those with the hateful comments about a girl that has supported the vols thru and thru, shove it, respectfully."

Hutchin's mom, Alicia, also came in to defend her daughter after she was seen sporting Aggies colors.

"Howdy! Halle’s mom. Dad has been Dir of Ops for 26 years at ATM, brother med retired and now coaches, halle does social media for baseball. We all LOVE Drew and are so thankful for him and his family. Their story is beautiful so quit reaching for the negative."
