Penn State Nittany Lions Baseball Transfer Portal Tracker 2024: List of all players who've entered the transfer portal

The Penn State Nittany Lions had a decent first season under coach Mike Gambino. They posted a winning 29–24 record and reached the Big Ten Tournament.

While Penn State will want to make moves for top talents in the offseason, a few players from the program are entering the transfer portal after the 2024 season.

List of all Penn State Nittany Lions baseball players who entered the transfer portal this year

Billy Gerlott, OF

Gerlott has reportedly entered the transfer portal after three seasons with the Penn State Nittany Lions. The junior has recorded 91 hits and nine runs for the program but is expected to leave the team this year.

Bobby Marsh, LF

Marsh enters the transfer portal on the back of two seasons at Penn State. The outfielder racked up 105 hits and 12 homers during his time with the Nittany Lions.

Ty Torti, IF

Torti has reportedly entered the transfer portal this year after redshirting the 2024 season with the Nittany Lions. As a freshman in 2023, the infielder had one hit and two runs across six at-bats with a .167 batting average.

Jacob Coffin, LHP

Coffin redshirted the 2024 season at Penn State and has reportedly headed into the transfer portal. The pitcher had struck out seven and posted six walks across nine innings in his freshman year in 2023.

Aiden Coleman, LHP

Coleman redshirted his freshman year in 2024 at Penn State and is reportedly entering the transfer portal.

CJ Carmichael, IF

Carmichael redshirted his freshman year at Penn State in 2024. He will be entering the transfer portal heading for newer pastures.

James Lordi, LHP

Lordi redshirted his freshman year with the Penn State Nittany Lions in 2024. The pitcher enters the transfer portal to potentially build his career elsewhere.

Martin Howell, C

After redshirting as a true freshman at Penn State, Howell is the only Nittany Lions catcher to enter the transfer portal this year.
