Aden Holloway is a college basketball player, representing the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), as of January 2025. Holloway began his high school basketball career at Covenant Day School in Matthews, North Carolina, before transferring to La Lumiere School in Indiana. He later played for Prolific Prep in Napa, California, where he developed as a point guard. His performances earned him recognition as a top recruit, culminating in a five-star rating by ESPN and 247Sports during his senior year. He received offers from various programs including Tennessee and Miami before committing to Auburn University on August 1, 2022.

In his freshman season with the Auburn Tigers, he accumulated 19 points in his debut against Baylor. Throughout his freshman season, he played in 35 games and made 26 starts. For his performances, he was awarded the SEC Freshman of the Week twice. He also recorded a season-high score of 24 points against Indiana. He was the 9th player with the most three-pointers in Auburn history, recording 52 three-pointers. Holloway was also selected to the 2024 SEC All-Freshman Team.
