Alexia Gassett is a collegiate women's basketball player for the Florida Gators' roster for the 2024-25 season. Gassett hails from Reynoldsburg, Ohio, where she went to Reynoldsburg High School. She was recognized as a four-star recruit and ranked as the 31st overall player and the seventh-best wing in the Class of 2022 by ESPN's HoopGurlz. During her junior year, she averaged a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds per game, leading her team to an 18-4 record and a district championship. Her senior season was equally remarkable as she averaged 17.9 points and 20.7 rebounds per game, ranking fourth nationally in rebounding with a total of 402 rebounds for the season.

Gassett's collegiate career began at Louisville, where she played for two seasons. During her sophomore year, she participated in 24 games and demonstrated her scoring ability with a season-high of 12 points against Bellarmine. She also recorded notable performances in rebounding, achieving a career-high of seven rebounds against North Carolina A&T. In May 2024, Gassett announced her transfer to the Florida Gators, joining Head Coach Kelly Rae Finley's program for the upcoming season. Gassett made her debut with the Gators against Florida Atlantic on November 4, 2024.
