Freshman guard Andrej Stojakovic has been a standout for the Stanford Cardinal this season, but he has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. He appeared in all 32 games last season, playing 22.3 minutes and averaging 7.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.9 assists.
But what team will be able to get him to join their program?
Andrej Stojakovic Landing Spot #1: Texas Longhorns
The Texas Longhorns are one of the Final Four teams Stojakovic considered before ultimately choosing Stanford. With the Longhorns making the NCAA Tournament this season, they have an outstanding roster and should be viewed as a serious contender to land him.
Andrej Stojakovic Landing Spot #2: Oregon Ducks
Another one of the Final Four teams fending for Stojakovic was the Oregon Ducks. The Ducks also made the NCAA Tournament as they are the 11th seed in the Midwest Region. Jermaine Couisnard is going to be gone next year as he does not have any more eligibility so Stojakovic can take his spot.
Andrej Stojakovic Landing Spot #3: UCLA Bruins
The UCLA Bruins were also among the teams Stojakovic originally picked out. The Bruins failed to make the NCAA Tournament so this could be a chance for him to step up and lead the program back to the promised land.
With a brutal offense, averaging 66.0 points per game as a team, they need someone who can step up and control the basketball. That is what Andrej Stojakovic could do if he joins here.
Andrej Stojakovic Landing Spot #4: USC Trojans
The USC Trojans had a dismal season, and with players like Isaiah Collier, among others, leaving the program next season, they need someone to steer the team in the right direction. They will need to create a splash, and having Andrej Stojakovic on their roster would be a huge advantage for next season.
Andrej Stojakovic Landing Spot #5: Purdue Boilermakers
This is the least likely outcome but Stojakovic replacing the departing Zach Edey could be a good fit.
Purdue is going to need a reason to continue being a dominant force in college basketball. Stojakovic could continue improving his draft stock and this is one of the better ways to do so as he will be on a national platform.
