Aneesah Morrow plays for the LSU Tigers as a forward. She was a top-ranked five-star recruit in her class. Morrow was named as an All-State first-team selection by the Associated Press and the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association.

Before LSU, Morrow was a top player at DePaul, recording 53 double-doubles in 66 career games. In her sophomore year, she averaged 25.7 points and 12.2 rebounds, ranking top 10 nationally in both categories. She was a 2021-22 Second Team All-American and National Freshman of the Year by USBWA, WBCA, and The Athletic. She set DePaul’s single-season rebounding record (457) and the Big East single-game rebounding record (27). Morrow was a Naismith Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year finalist, a Wooden Award finalist, and earned multiple Big East honors.

Aneesah Morrow High School

Aneesah Morrow was born in Chicago, Illinois, and attended Simeon Career Academy. She helped the team win its first city championship as a freshman. In her junior year, she averaged 23 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. As a senior, she led Simeon to a 35-2 record and the 2020 IHSA State Basketball Championship.

Morrow scored over 1,000 career points and was a top-ranked recruit. In her senior season, she elevated her game, averaging 28.4 points, 14.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 2.9 steals, and 2.3 blocks per game, making her Simeon’s best player.

Aneesah Morrow College

Aneesah Morrow played 37 games in the 2023-24 season, starting 34. She recorded 22 double-doubles, ranking fifth in the country. She earned National Player of the Week honors after scoring 32.5 points and 15.5 rebounds in two games at the Cayman Islands Classic. Morrow had eight 20+ point games and a 20-rebound game against Florida. She also totaled 93 steals and 93 blocks, ranking among LSU’s best defenders.

Before LSU, Morrow played two seasons at DePaul, recording 53 double-doubles in 66 games. She earned multiple All-American honors, was the 2022 National Freshman of the Year, and set DePaul's single-season rebounding record. She was also a finalist for the John Wooden and Naismith Player of the Year awards.
