Ashlynn Shade plays collegiate basketball as a guard for the Big East Conference's UConn Huskies, as of 2024. During her first three years, Shade was a basketball player for Noblesville High School in Noblesville, Indiana. She won the Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year award as a junior after leading her team to the Class 4A state championship.
