B Artis White is a forward for the Richmond Spiders and plays as a graduate student in the 2024-2025 season. White hails from Canton, Michigan, and attended Canton High School. White joined the University of Richmond in May 2024 following the completion of his collegiate career at Western Michigan University. He spent five seasons at Western Michigan University. As a redshirt senior during the 2023-24 season, he earned an Honorable Mention in the All-MAC team and averaged 10.4 points per game, ranking second on the team. He also registered a career-high 3.2 assists per game, which ranked seventh in the Mid-American Conference, and concluded his WMU career as the fourth all-time player in the program history with 192 three-pointers. As a sophomore in the 2020-21 season, White led WMU in scoring with 14.3 points a game, earning an Honorable Mention in the All-MAC team. He started 30 games in his first year and averaged 7.3 points. He graduated from WMU with a degree in Sports Management in December 2023.

He became the school's second all-time scorer with 1,000 plus points and was a finalist for the Michigan Mr. Basketball Award in 2019. He scored an average of 21.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game throughout his career at Canton. Artis White earned a spot on the Detroit Free Press Dream Team. His achievements include being named in the All-West Detroit Free Press First Team in 2017 and earning KLAA Black Division All-Conference honors the same year. During his four-year varsity career, White helped Canton win 73 games and received an offer from Western Michigan University.
