The No. 25 Huskies re-emerged in the winning column after suffering three straight losses, demolishing Maryland Eastern Shore 99-45 on Saturday. On the other hand, the No. 15 Bears bounced back from a previous setback against Tennessee, outplaying New Orleans 91-60 last Wednesday.

Baylor has played well in its 2024-25 college basketball season, winning five of its first seven games. However, the Bears are 2-2 against Top 25 teams, winning against Arkansas and St. John's and losing against Gonzaga and Tennessee.

Baylor has averaged 85.0 points per game as a team, and five players have emerged as the Bears' main producers. Miami transfer Norchad Omier emerged as a double-double machine for Scott Drew's men, tallying 15.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. He has shot 59.5% from the field and 70.0% from free throws.

Supporting Omier are four guards in Jeremy Roach, Jayden Nunn and freshmen Robert Wright III and VJ Edgecombe. Duke transfer Roach has served as the veteran stabilizer for Baylor, averaging 13.3 ppg, 2.0 rpg and 4.7 apg.
