American professional basketball player Blake Demond Hinson was born on December 26, 1999, and he is a free agent, as of 2024. Hinson played collegiate basketball for the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Ole Miss Rebels.

Hinson attended Deltona High School while growing up in Deltona, Florida. He transferred to Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas, before the start of his senior year.

He helped Sunrise Christian win titles at the Saint James Invitational, Quincy Shootout, and Lighthouse Classic with an average of 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game. Additionally, Blake was selected for the Saint James Invitational All-Tournament Team.

Hinson attended Ole Miss for his first year of college. As a freshman, he averaged 8.3 points and 2.9 rebounds while starting 31 games. In his sophomore year, Hinson averaged 10.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. He went into the NCAA transfer portal following the season.

Hinson went to Iowa State after transferring. He missed the Cyclones' inaugural season because of an undisclosed illness. Shortly before the 2021–2022 season began, Hinson departed the program.

Hinson went to Pittsburgh for a second transfer. He averaged 15.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in his first season with the team, earning him a spot on the ACC's second team. Hinson finished his final season at Pitt as a first-team All-ACC player.

Although Blake was not selected in the 2024 NBA draft, on July 5, 2024, he agreed to a two-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. He was, however, waived on September 16 and signed a contract with the Golden State Warriors seven days later. Nevertheless, on October 19, he was released.
