Bree Hall is a collegiate basketball guard for the South Carolina Gamecocks, a team from the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Hall is in her senior year as of January 2025. Hall attended Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio where, as a senior, she averaged 25.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game. Following her performance, Hall managed to bag McDonald's All-American and Ohio Ms. Basketball honors. Coming out of high school where she was an all-time leading scorer, surpassing the boys' record held by Travis Trice, Hall was rated a five-star recruit by ESPN.

Hall got offers from several programs namely Kentucky, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Texas. She eventually decided to commit to South Carolina and kick-start her college basketball career. During her freshman year, she averaged 2.7 points and 1.5 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per game. Her performance led her side to win the national championship. The following year, she averaged five points and 1.9 rebounds per game and was Carolina’s important bench player as the team reached the Final Four of the 2023 NCAA tournament. She entered her junior year as a starter.
