North Carolina freshmen Ian Jackson and James Brown have garnered attention from basketball fans due to their bold takes. On Monday, Overtime uploaded a video on Instagram where two rookies answered questions about who will come out on top against 2023 NBA MVP Joel Embiid.
Fans were disappointed as Jackson and Brown picked the Philadelphia 76ers superstar over several standout NBA centers, including Hall of Famers David Robinson and Wilt Chamberlain.
Fans quickly took to the comment section and shared their reactions.

Brown and Jackson chose Embiid over New York Knicks legend Patrick Ewing before Brown picked Hakeem Olajuwon.
On the other hand, Jackson kept going and passed up on Anthony Davis before finally snapping his stick in half when it came to Shaquille O'Neal, who is widely considered one of the most dominant players of all time.
The duo has shown flashes of their potential this season, helping UNC to a 9-6 overall record (2-1 ACC).

Ian Jackson has placed his stamp on the team through his first 14 games. He is second in scoring with 14.9 points along with 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 3-pointers.
Meanwhile, Brown is looking to earn more playing time and is averaging 1.6 ppg and 0.7 rpg in seven games played.
The Tar Heels will be back in action on Monday in a conference matchup against SMU at home, aiming to hand the Mustangs their fourth loss of the season.
