Bruce Alan Pearl is the head coach of the Auburn Tigers men's basketball team and was born on March 18, 1960. Before his career at Auburn, he coached teams such as Tennessee, Milwaukee, and Southern Indiana, where he won numerous recognitions. Pearl guided Auburn to two NCAA Division I Final Four appearances in 2019 and 2025. Prior to that, he won an NCAA Division II tournament championship in 1995. Pearl also won four GLVC regular season championships in 1994, 1996, 1997, and 2001 and won the conference tournament championship in 1995. At the Division I level, he won two Horizon League tournament championships in 2003 and 2005 and two regular season championships in 2004 and 2005. In the SEC, he earned four regular-season championships in 2008, 2018, 2022, and 2025 and two SEC tournament championships in 2019 and 2024. He was the NABC Division II Coach of the Year in 1995 and the Sporting News Coach of the Year in 2006. He was awarded the Adolph Rupp Cup in 2008 and received conference awards, such as GLVC Coach of the Year twice in 1993 and 1994, Horizon League Coach of the Year thrice in 2002, 2003, and 2005, and SEC Coach of the Year four times in 2006, 2008, 2022, and 2025.
