He started his high school career at Colonia High School and went on to play a year at SPIRE Academy before the start of his collegiate career. During the 2022-23 season for Northwest Florida State College, he guided the team to a 29-8 record and a trip to the NJCAA National Championship Game. He achieved a total of 517 points, had 122 rebounds, and gave 71 assists. He was the NJCAA Region 8 Most Outstanding Player and also received the NJCAA Region 8 All-Tournament Team and All-Panhandle Conference First Team mentions.
