Chance Gray plays college basketball for the Ohio State Buckeyes women's basketball in the Big Ten Conference. Chance Gray is a junior and plays as a guard, as of 2025. Gray made her collegiate debut for the Oregon Ducks in 2022 and after playing two seasons with them, she moved to the Ohio State Buckeyes at the beginning of the 2024-25 season.

As a freshman, Gray played 35 games. Her 56 3-pointers are tied for third-most in a single season by a Duck freshman while her 77 assists are good for ninth on that list. As a sophomore, Gray played 31 games for the Ducks. Gray helped Team USA win a silver medal at the 2023 FIBA AmeriCup in Leon, Mexico, after being chosen for USA Basketball's 2023 Women's AmeriCup team.

According to the espnW top 100, Gray was ranked seventh in the country for the Class of 2022. ESPN rated her as a five-star prospect. After Sabrina Ionescu, she was the second-highest-ranked recruit in the program's history, according to ESPN. Gray competed in the Jordan Brand Classic and the McDonald's All-American Game. As a senior, she was named the Ohio Gatorade State Player of the Year. In addition, Gray received the Ohio District 16 Player of the Year award.

He played in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, and Kansas City Chiefs before being chosen by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 1993 NFL draft.
