Chloe Kitts is a collegiate basketball forward for the South Carolina Gamecocks in the SEC. She moved from Puyallup, Washington, to Oviedo, Florida, in the third grade. In her first year of high school, she played basketball for The Master's Academy in Oviedo. For her sophomore season, Kitts relocated to the DME Academy in Daytona Beach, Florida. She averaged 18.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game as a junior and led the team to its first appearance in the GEICO Nationals. ESPN rated Kitts as a five-star recruit, and she declined offers from Louisville, Duke, NC State, and Arizona to join South Carolina. She was ranked fourth in the nation by Prospects Nation.
After receiving limited playing time during her freshman season, Kitts averaged nearly 9 points, 6 rebounds and 1.5 assists after starting 31 games in her sophomore season. She played an integral part to the team's success, as the Gamecocks went on to win the NCAA Tournament in 2024. As of December 2024, she has recorded 101 points, 79 rebounds and 10 steals in nine games during her junior year.
