Chris Moore is a college basketball player for the Auburn Tigers. He is a native of West Memphis, Arkansas, and attended West Memphis High School. During the 2020-21 season, he played in 25 games as a reserve, averaging 2.8 points and 2.0 rebounds per game with a shot accuracy of 56.3% from the field. During his sophomore season, Moore played in 25 games, recording a season-best 16 points against ULM and registering nine offensive rebounds in SEC games. In the 2022-23 season, Moore played 31 games with 16 starts and averaged 3.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.5 steals per game. He achieved a season's best of 14 points against Texas Southern and earned Auburn's Inspiration Award for leadership and attitude upon recovery from his injury. During his senior year in 2023-24, Moore started 26 of 34 games and averaged 14.0 minutes per game. He added 10 points against Notre Dame and five assists against Chattanooga. Moore was remarkable for Auburn's SEC Tournament Championship qualification, scoring seven points and six rebounds against Florida in the championship game. Chris Moore was notable at West Memphis High School in Arkansas, earning all-state and all-conference honors four times. As a senior, he was voted Arkansas Player of the Year and concluded his career as the all-time leader in points and rebounds for his school. Moore was the first player in the history of West Memphis to play four varsity seasons. He led his team into the Arkansas state championship game while averaging 18.7 points and 16.3 rebounds per game and qualified for the state playoffs. Moore averaged 17.2 points, 13 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 63%, earning him the 5A East Player of the Year distinction in his junior year. He also played for Woodz Elite for the AAU circuit in the Nike EYBL, where he averaged 17.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 blocks. Moore guided his high school and AAU teams to the No. 1 place in state and national rankings.
