Chucky Hepburn is an American basketball point guard who made his move to the Louisville Cardinals after spending the last three seasons with Wisconsin. He started playing high school basketball at the Bellevue West High School where he led the team to four straight championship games during his prep career. In his senior season, Hepburn tallied 15.9 points, 8.3 assists, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.8 steals per game. As a junior, he averaged 17.7 points, 6.1 assists, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.1 steals per game and was the recipient of the 2020 Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year. Hepburn was named the No.2 ranked player in the state of Nebraska and the No.20 point guard in the country in the 2021 recruiting class.

Chucky Hepburn embarked on his collegiate basketball journey with Wisconsin over offers from Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Oregon, and Purdue. He spent three years with the program and recorded 1,103 points, 313 assists, and 162 steals while starting in all 103 games. However, Hepburn decided to transfer to Louisville following the conclusion of the 2023-24 season.

Hepburn enjoyed a stellar rookie campaign with Wisconsin where he started in all 33 games and was named in the 2022 Big Ten All-Freshman Team. The following year as a sophomore, Hepburn started all 35 games and recorded a career-high 12.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists while leading the program with 99 assists and 52 steals. Last season, he was named to the Big Ten All-Defensive Team as he averaged 9.2 points, 3.9 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game. But after three years, Wisconsin lost Hepburn to the transfer portal who joined Louisville Cardinals for his final season of eligibility.
