Chucky Hepburn, born February 9, 2003, is a point guard who represents the Louisville Cardinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference. He spent three seasons as a full-time starter for the Wisconsin Badgers before transferring to Louisville following the conclusion of the 2023-24 season. Hepburn was regarded as one of the best point guards in the transfer portal and started every game of his career with the Badgers. His breakout campaign was during his sophomore year when he averaged 12.2 points, 2.9 assists per game, and 32 minutes per game and led the program with 99 assists and 52 steals. In his three-year stint with the Cardinals, Hepburn recorded 1,103 points, 313 assists, and 162 steals.
He was rated as a four-star prospect out of Bellevue West High School and was ranked the No.2 prospect in the state of Nebraska in the 2021 recruiting class. During his junior year, he led the school to the Class A state championship and averaged 17.1 points, 6.5 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game. Hepburn was honored with the 2020 Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year and led Bellevue to four straight championship games.
