Collin Murray-Boyles is a college basketball player, playing for the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Murray-Boyles attended A.C. Flora High School in Forest Acres, South Carolina. During his junior year, he was named the Class 4A Player of the Year after leading his team to the state championship game. He averaged 18.3 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 5.3 blocks per game that season. His performance earned him recognition as one of the top players in South Carolina. For his senior year, Collin Murray-Boyles transferred to Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah. There, he continued his basketball prep career, averaging 15.0 points and 8.8 rebounds per game while leading his team in both categories.

Murray-Boyles joined the South Carolina Gamecocks for the 2023-2024 season but faced challenges early on due to contracting mononucleosis, which sidelined him for a portion of the season. Despite this setback, he became a vital contributor upon his return. He played a total of 28 games during his freshman year, starting in 19 of them. He averaged 10.4 points and led the team with 5.7 rebounds per game while also contributing with assists and blocks. His career breakthrough moment came on February 10, 2024, when he scored a career-high 31 points against Vanderbilt, shooting 82.4% from the field during that game.
