Cormac Joseph Ryan, born on October 26, 1998, is an American shooting guard, playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA, as of 2024. The forward was rated as a four-star recruit during his time at the Collegiate School and was also considered a top-three player from New York.
His journey to collegiate basketball stardom began at Stanford University where he started 17 out of 24 games and scored double-digit points against teams ranked in the Top 10. Ryan transferred to Notre Dame but was redshirted in his first year and did not participate the entire season. He scored 1173 points in over 116 games in his four-year spell with Notre Dame. Ryan was also the team captain in each of the last three seasons before he made his move to the North Carolina Tar Heels in 2023.
