Dain Dainja is a collegiate basketball forward for the Memphis Tigers in the Atlantic American Conference. Before joining the Memphis Tigers, Dainja was a forward for the Baylor Bears and the Illinois Fighting Illini. A four-star prospect in the Class of 2020, Dain Dainja was ranked No. 52 by ESPN and No. 91 by 247Sports throughout his high school career. He redshirted his entire freshman year at Baylor.
Dainja had an incredible sophomore season with Illinois, averaging 9.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, ranking as the team's fourth scorer and second rebounder. Dainja was one of six Illini to play in all 37 games during the 2023–24 season as a junior. He finished sixth on the team in terms of both rebounding (3.7 rpg) and scoring (6.3 ppg).
