Deja Kelley is a collegiate basketball guard at the University of Oregon, representing the Ducks in the Big Ten Conference. Previously, she represented the North Carolina Tar Heels at Chapel Hill in the Atlantic Coast Conference from 2020-2024. Deja Kelly has also gained recognition for getting a silver medal for Team USA at the 2023 FIBA AmeriCup in Mexico, as per Oregon Ducks' official website.

Deja Kelly's collegiate career

Deja Kelly attends the University of Oregon in Eugene. She started her collegiate basketball career with the North Carolina Tar Heels as a freshman in the 2020/21 season. Because of her excellent playing skills, she was added to the ACC All-Freshman Team in 2021, as per North Carolina Tar Heels' official website.

Kelly notably scored her first double-double in a winning game against the Virginia Tech Hokies during her 2021/22 sophomore season. Furthermore, her basketball skills also helped her team to arrive at their first Sweet 16 after seven years. After the season ended, Deja Kelly was honored as a member of the First Team All-ACC in 2022. Subsequently, she was also declared an All-American by the WBCA (Women’s Basketball Coaches Association).

After her senior year, three-time All-ACC guard Deja Kelly decided to transfer to Oregon in 2024 for her fifth and final year of eligibility. As of January 2025, Kelly is averaging 10.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 20 appearances for the Ducks, as per ESPN.

In her junior year, Deja Kelly changed schools and joined Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas, United States.
