Queen was named in the MaxPreps Second Team All-American after helping Montverde to the Chipotle National Championship. Before he transferred to Montverde, he played his freshman year at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore where he was named the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year. He also earned an honorable mention as a junior in the MaxPreps Junior All-American team. Queen also played AAU for Team Thrill, leading the team to the 2023 Under Armour Association U-17 spring championship.
