The Detroit Mercy Titans men's basketball team represents the University of Detroit Mercy and is a member of the Horizon League Conference. They have appeared in the NCAA Tournament only six times in their 116-season history. The Titans play their home games at the Calihan Hall on the McNichols Campus.

Mark Montgomery is the head coach of the Detroit Mercy Titans, as of December 2024. Prior to his arrival at Detroit, he spent one season as an assistant coach at Detroit Mercy in 2021, before spending three years at Michigan State as an assistant coach from 2021 to 2024. He also served 10 years as the head coach at Northern Illinois University from 2011 to 2021.

Detroit Mercy Men’s Basketball Assistant Coaches

Lamar Chapman, Mike Peck, and LaMonta Stone serve as the assistant coaches of the Detroit Mercy Titans men's basketball team, as of December 2024.

Lamar Chapman joined the Detroit Mercy basketball coaching staff in 2024 and was also a part of Montgomery’s coaching staff at Northern Illinois. He spent the last season at Caledonia High School as the head coach.

Mike Peck has joined Montgomery’s coaching staff in 2024, after previously serving as an associate head coach for eight seasons at UTSA Roadrunners.

LaMonta Stone joined the Titans coaching staff as an assistant coach in May 2024 having spent the last season as the Director of Basketball Operations at Eastern Michigan.
