DJ Horne, born on October 31, 2000, is an American basketball athlete who joined the San Antonio Spurs for the Summer League after going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft. The 6ft 2inch point guard started his collegiate journey with Illinois State where he spent two years recording 633 points, 186 rebounds, and 109 assists. However, after two years with the program, Horne decided to transfer to Arizona State in his junior year. For the next two seasons, Horne started 62 out of 65 games and averaged 12.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in the 2022-2023 season. He entered the transfer portal once again and committed to his hometown program NC State for his final season of college basketball. Last season, he recorded a career-high 16.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists before announcing himself for the 2024 NBA Draft.
Coming out of high school, Horne was ranked the No.30-point guard and 118th overall recruit in the 2019 recruiting class. During his senior year, he averaged 12.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
