Egor Demin is a collegiate basketball guard for the BYU Cougars in the Big 12. Egor Demin hails from Russia and spent two seasons playing for Real Madrid's U-18 squad in France. According to 247Sports, Demin is the most prominent five-star recruit to ever enroll in the BYU program.

Demin signed a multi-year contract with Real Madrid when he was fifteen years old. He had 21 appearances for Real Madrid 2 last season, averaging 13.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. He is a Top-10 pick in ESPN's most recent 2025 mock draft because of his well-rounded offensive game. Before agreeing to a six-year contract with the Real Madrid basketball team, Demin trained at the Moscow Basketball Academy until 2021. Demin averaged 8.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game in 2023 and led Real Madrid B to the EBGNT championship.

During the 2023–24 season, he played in 21 games for Real Madrid B, averaging 13.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest. After receiving offers from Illinois and Arkansas in 2024, Demin decided to move to the United States and signed with the BYU Cougars. Demin has won both of the Big 12's Newcomer of the Week awards in the 2024-25 season and averaged 17 points, 7.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game.
