Florida Gators SEC Championship Wins
Although the automatic bid in the NCAA Tournament is awarded to the winner of the conference tournament, the SEC crowns the team with the best regular-season record the 'official' conference champion. The Gators have won seven official (regular season) SEC championships. The first one was captured by Norm Sloan in the 1988-89 season, and Billy Donovan has captured the other six, including the 2006-07 season when the Gators had also captured the SEC Tournament championship title and NCAA national title. Three out of four championships were from 2011 to 2014. The team of 2013-14 became a remarkable team in the history of SEC to possess a 18-0 regular-season conference record.
