Georgia Amoore has established herself as one of the female breakout players in the NCAA women’s collegiate basketball scenario. She has proved to be a great addition to the team roster because she easily dominated the three point range and has good scoring abilities.

Georgia Amoore’s biggest advantage is that she makes it quite difficult for opponent players to guard her on the court. Outside of collegiate basketball, her skills have also been appreciated on the international level in various tournaments.

College Attended by Georgia Amoore

Georgia Amoore attends Virginia Tech. She committed to the University in 2020 and decided to play collegiate basketball for the Virginia Tech Hokies for the past three seasons. She is presently a senior in her team. Amoore is also studying Sociology courses at Virginia Tech.

Georgia Amoore’s College Basketball Performance So Far

Georgia Amoore kicked off her collegiate basketball career with the Virginia Tech Hokies in her freshman 2020/21 season. Her basketball skills made her a natural selection to the ACC All-Freshman Team in 2021.

During her sophomore 2021/22 season, Georgia Amoore kept up her consistency with her basketball skills. At the end of the season she was honorably mentioned as an All-ACC player in 2022.

Georgia Amoore’s junior 2022/23 season is when she gained the most recognition and appreciation for skills on the court. She is notable for recording her first triple double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in a victory against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on December 1, 2022.

Consequently, she became the first player from the Virginia Tech Hokies to achieve a triple double in the team’s history. Furthermore, she also helped her team reach the Elite Eight in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. She also led her team to the Final Four.

For this, she was declared as the MVP of the ACC Tournament and a member of First Team All-ACC in 2023. She is giving her best efforts to her team as a senior in the 2023/24 season. Over four seasons and 108 games with the Virginia Tech Hokies so far, Georgia Amoore is averaging 13.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. She is also shooting 39.5% from the field, including 36.4% from deep so far.
