Georgia's Bulldogs, a men's basketball program from the University of Georgia in Athens, was formed in 1891. The Bulldogs have been a part of the Southeastern Conference since 1932.
The Bulldogs have shown up in the NCAA tournament 12 times in history. They've won seven games and lost 12. They won the regular season in 1990 and came out on top in tournament championships two times, in 1983 and 2008. The Bulldogs were also champions of the Southern Conference in the 1931–1932 season.

As of 2024, the head coach of the Georgia men's basketball team is Mike White. He coached the Florida Gators from 2015 to 2022 and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs from 2011 to 2015 before his job at Georgia. Plus, he played basketball for Ole Miss from 1995 to 1999.

Associate Head Coach
Antonio Reynolds Dean, an Atlanta native, was named the Associate Head Coach for the Georgia Bulldogs men's basketball team on April 12, 2022. Before this, he spent five seasons, from 2017 to 2022, coaching at Clemson. He helped get the team to two NCAA Tournaments and one NIT game.
Rhode Island also got to an NCAA Tournament under his guidance in 2017. Plus, Northeastern garnered two NIT invites in 2010 and 2013 under his coaching. Antonio Reynolds Dean was also a player before starting his coaching career. He was named a double all-state player at Atlanta's Douglass High.
Assistant Coach
As of November 2024, there are three assistant coaches on the Georgia Men's basketball team. The first assistant coach is Erik Pastrana, who was named to the position on March 28, 2022. Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Pastrana was a member of White's staff at Florida for the 2021-22 season.
Patrick Blake joined the Georgia Bulldogs in the summer of 2023 as an assistant coach. Prior to his time at Georgia, Blake served as an assistant coach at Eastern Kentucky from 2019-23 and at Coastal Carolina from 2015-19.
