Grant Nelson is an American basketball player who will be playing his fifth season of college basketball with Alabama Crimson Tide, primarily as a power forward. Nelson is one of the veterans in the realm of college basketball and would use his final year of eligibility to return to Tuscaloosa this season.

However, after three seasons with the program, Nelson transferred to Alabama in the offseason with two years of eligibility remaining. During his senior year, Nelson averaged 11.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.6 blocks per game. Nelson will play a second season at Alabama and will return to Tuscaloosa for his final year of eligibility.
