Hanna Cavinder is an American college basketball player who plays as a guard for the Miami Hurricanes of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) as of December 2024. Cavinder attended Gilbert Arizona High School. As a senior, she was the Arizona 5A Offensive Player of the Year. Cavinder began her college basketball career at Fresno State where she earned the All-Mountain West (MWC) Team selection twice and an MW All-Freshman Team selection.
Some of her career honors include the 2023 All-ACC Academic Team, All-Mountain West Team twice (2020 and 2021), the 2020 Mountain West All-Freshman Team, and three times Mountain West Player of the Week. She has played 123 career games and started 87, as of December 2024. Cavinder has 1,529 points and 336 rebounds while averaging 12.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in four seasons.
