The Cavinder twins — Haley and Hanna Cavinder — are two of the most popular female college athletes. Their dynamic social media personalities and strong on-court presence have earned them millions of followers across platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

Besides their popularity and NIL dominance, many argue that the Cavinder sisters' basketball skill sets are equally impressive. Both play in the guard position and have proven to be impactful for their team. After their senior year at Miami, they took a season off and are now back for their final year.

However, which Cavinder is the better basketball player?

Miami stars Hanna and Haley have been playing together on the same team since preschool. They later attended Gilbert High School in Arizona.

After high school, the Cavinder twins started college at Fresno State University. Their stats were almost similar — Haley averaged 16 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, while Hanna posted 15.7 points, 3.7 assists and 2.5 rebounds per outing as a freshman.

The duo played three seasons for the Bulldogs, and for the senior year, they joined Miami. Haley, who had the best scoring (19.8 ppg) the previous season, plummeted to 12.2 ppg and 4.5 rpg. Hanna's drop was even more severe — she went from 14.6 ppg to 3.8 ppg and 3.8 rpg to 1.3 rpg.

Haley says she's excited to play with Hanna Cavinder for fifth year

The Cavinder twins jointly decided to retire from playing last year, but in April this year, they announced that they would return for their final season.

"I think it's hard to be in a position where it's either you stay at a school or you go back to a school to play with your twin sister for your last year. Hanna and I played the game forever together. I've never played a game without her," Haley said [via ACC Tipoff]

At first, Haley was committed to TCU, but she changed her mind and returned to the Miami Hurricanes to join her sister.
