Harmoni Turner, the American women's college basketball player, plays as a guard for Harvard's women’s basketball team as of February 2025. Turner, who is in her senior year, received the Rookie of the Year award in her first year. As part of the national side, she was selected to the 2024 USA 3x3 U23 National Team and competed at the 2024 FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In January 2025, Harvard won 73-44 against the University of Pennsylvania on Martin Luther King Jr. Day at The Palestra Arena. The game was a memorable one for Turner as she moved to fourth on the list of all-time scorers for the Harvard Crimson Women's Basketball program.

According to Harvard University's website, Harmoni Turner is also very involved in academics. She interned as a professor assistant at the Harvard Business School in the summer of 2022, during which she met Tiffany Haddish, Dirk Nowinski, and Tamika Catchings. The following year, she worked as an intern for the Spurs where she was involved in shadowing the CEO of the team.

Krystal and Rocky are the adoptive parents of Harmoni Turner. According to a report by The Harvard Gazette, Turner met her adopted mother when she was four. Krystal later got married to Rocky who became Turner’s adoptive father.

Harmoni Turner, while talking about her adoptive mother to the Harvard Gazette, said:

“At a young age I didn’t think I was deserving of a mother like her. When she came into my life and took me in as her own, it was comforting to see her love me for me, regardless of the circumstances that I’ve been through. You can’t ask for a better mother than that. She didn’t have me, but it felt like she did.”

She further added, “I’ve learned a lot from her, she is my hero. I look up to her every day of the week. She is someone I aspire to be like because I didn’t have that when I was younger.”
