American college basketball player Hunter Dickinson is a center for the Kansas Jayhawks, a team which competes for the Big 12 Conference. He was a player for the Michigan Wolverines, a team which plays in the Big Ten Conference. During his freshman year in college in the 2020-21 season, he was honored with Consensus All-America Second Team, a Big Ten All-Freshman Team, All-Big Ten Second Team and was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. In addition to these achievements, he was also awarded the Big 12 Freshman of the Week seven times according to his roster profile on Kansas Jayhawks University website.

The following year as a sophomore, he attended 32 games and was honored with All-Big Ten First Team. In the 2022-23 year, Dickinson’s name was enlisted in the All-Big Ten First Team. As a junior, he registered 18.5 points and became the fourth player to score that many points in the conference. He was also ranked third in rebounds with 9.0 per game and third in the league with 14 double-doubles. As a senior, his name was included in the Consensus All-America Second Team and Wooden All-American. He was also honored with the 2024 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. Dickinson was also one of the players in the 2023-24 season to be finalist for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award. The Kansas University website reports that the player will be playing as a super-senior for the 2024-25 season.

As a junior, he averaged 17.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots while in his sophomore year, he registered 16.0 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots.
