UConn star Paige Bueckers strutted around New York in style earlier this month to attend various events in the city. She first attended NY Fashion Week before heading to Usher's concert at Barclays Center and then the Nike's gallery exhibition.
On Wednesday, Bueckers shared several photos from her productive time in the Big Apple, including snaps with South Carolina women's basketball coach Dawn Staley.
"Nike in New York 🗽," Paige wrote on Instagram.
The images show the 6-foot guard wearing designer outfits, from an all-white to a dark blue tracksuit to a black and white sweatshirt and golden pants combo.
Paige Bueckers was among the many female athletes featured in Nike's 'The Look of Victory' gallery exhibition at Broome Street, NY. She stood next to Staley for a photo shoot along with Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles and Grammy-winning singer Tyla.
In another group photo, Bueckers posed with the three-time national championship-winning coach alongside high school hooper Jerzy Robinson and several other artists.
Additionally, through the post, she acknowledged her hairstylist Mitchell Ramazon, makeup artist Meghan Nguy and fashion stylists duo Roberto Johnson and Brittany Hampton, who seemingly put together Bueckers' stylish looks during her NYC trip.
Paige Bueckers speaks out after Oregon man's arrest
Paige Bueckers had to address a serious topic this week as the University of Connecticut basketball standout addressed the recent arrest of an Oregon man who has been stalking her for months on the internet.
Last Friday, 40-year-old Robert Cole Parmalee was arrested and charged with breach of peace, stalking online, and harassing Paige Bueckers. On Monday, he appeared in Connecticut Superior Court in Rockville and was held on a $100,000 bond.
In one of his disturbing TikTok posts, Parmalee wrote: "And if I cannot live with a woman of my choosing, [Bueckers], then I will choose to die, and I will choose to take all of you that [op]pose me, oppose us, to hell, and return, king..."
Per CT Insider, Paige Bueckers told investigators that she was worried about her own safety, as well as the safety of her family and her Husky teammates, after finding out that a man had been stalking her for months and flew across the country to try to meet her.
According to UConn Police Officer Marc Hoffower, since the arrest, Bueckers has said she feels more cautious and alert in crowded places. She often feels like she needs to watch her surroundings and has been feeling more stressed throughout the whole situation.
