UConn star Paige Bueckers is enjoying her offseason, spending time going out with friends and family. On Saturday, she was at Audi Field in Washington DC, to watch an NWSL game between the Washington Spirit and North Carolina Courage.

Bueckers wore the Washington Spirit's jersey as she rooted for the home team. However, the match ended in North Carolina's favor as they beat Washington 1-0, thanks to Ashley Sanchez's goal.

The 6-foot guard attended the game with her teammate Azzi Fudd. An Instagram post by the Washington Spirit shows a picture where Bueckers stands alongside Fudd.

"A UConn & Spirit linkup," the caption read.

Paige Bueckers also posted a snapshot from the game on her Instagram story.

Before attending the NSWL game, Bueckers and Fudd were spotted at a WNBA game. They cheered their former teammate Aaliyah Edwards from the stands in a Mystics-Aces game and even had a brief reunion moment as they all gathered on the court and took pictures.

Paige Bueckers, an Edina, Minnesota native will head into the 2024-25 season for her fifth and final year of college eligibility.

Bueckers is facing greater expectations than ever. She has earned many awards during her time in college, such as being the first freshman ever to win the AP Player of the Year in 2021.

Moreover, Bueckers has been named Big East Player of the Year twice and received First-team All-Big East honors twice. She also earned Big East tournament MOP twice and was selected to the First-team All-American twice.

Bueckers spoke with the media after a recent workout session with UConn, where she conveyed her excitement for the upcoming season.

"I'm enjoying it, being healthy for the offseason, just continue to try to get stronger. That's a huge thing I'm working on," Bueckers said. "Honestly, playing a lot of 1-on-1, offensively, defensively working on that. I'm learning how to play with pace and I've sort of had this newfound strength, so I'm learning how to use my strength."

Staying healthy is indeed important for her, especially because she has had a lot of injuries in the past. From the beginning, injuries have been a concern for Bueckers.

In her freshman year, Bueckers guided UConn to the Final Four and set assist records. However, a left knee injury kept her out for most of her sophomore season, and her junior season ended early due to a torn ACL.
